A significant virtue that is granted to Hafiz e Quran is that the Quran intercedes for them on the Day of Judgment:

“Recite the Qur’ān, for on the day of resurrection it will come as an intercessor for those who recite it. Recite the two shining ones, Baqara and sūra Āl Imrān. for on the day of resurrection, they will come as two clouds or two shades, or two flocks of birds in ranks* pleading for those who recite them. Recite sūra al-Baqara, for using it produces blessing and abandoning it produces regret, and the slothful are unable to recite it.” [Sahih Muslim 804a]

The status of the Hafiz does not only include themselves but the honor is also bestowed on their parents as a reward for their determination and perseverance to make their offspring from the people of the Quran. They award their parents a crown that is brighter than the sun.

So, parents must enroll their children in hifz classes for kids so that they can start memorizing the quran at a young age.

4. In the company of Angels

It is stated by Prophet Muhammad PBUH that

The one who is proficient with the Qur’an will be with the noble and righteous scribes (the angels)” [5]. This means that being a Hafiz opens the door for you to be in the company of the noble angels. [Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi]

For the Hafiz, the Quran is there for them in the darkest of times when they are laid down in their graves.
